Hello!
My name is Brianna VanderWeide. I am a redeemed daughter of Jesus Christ. That’s the greatest title I will ever have, and the only one that will ever matter. So let me start there.
After graduating from Bible college, I worked in behavioral health and addiction facilities before going into full-time vocational ministry. For over a decade, I have served, led, and worked in the local church, as a Young Adult and Women’s Ministry Pastor.
In 2011, I started a blog called Making Me New from the lyrics of a song called Beautiful Things:
You make beautiful things. You make beautiful things out of the dust.
You make beautiful things. You make beautiful things out of us.
You make me new. You are making me new.
Little did I know that God would send me on an epic adventure of faith with Him in order to prepare for where He was leading. He was indeed MAKING ME NEW!
Hope has a name and He is Jesus, and I know He seeks to restore lives because He changed mine! I was no different than the women I often meet with, a woman who could have died from her own chains of hopelessness had it not been from the relentless and loving pursuit of her Heavenly Father!
I believe Jesus desperately wants our personal stories to be told so the world can see what “life to the full” looks like. I imagine modern day stories like the Biblical account of the Samaritan Woman whose bold and radical transformation changed her entire city!
Our mission statement is based on Mark 12:30. We are women who are called to “love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength” This is what Jesus said was most important to pursue, so that is what is we seek to do!
The vision of this nonprofit ministry is to have a local space in Arizona where women are able to do just that:
❤️ HEART – Biblical Counseling
🧠 MIND – Weekly Bible Studies
🔥 SOUL – 1:1 Discipleship & Spiritual Growth Coaching
💪 STRENGTH – Revelation Wellness® Fitness classes
I invite you to join me on this journey of Making Me New so that others may see Him and experience this freedom, too!
